KRISTY HARKEN

AREA MANAGER/ PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Kristy graduated from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Wellness Program Management and Health & Physical Education.  She worked for 5 years as a certified personal trainer and manager and then returned to further her education.  In 2010, she graduated from Des Moines University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Since that time, Kristy has worked in various settings including home health, skilled care, and outpatient.  She enjoys working with Parkinson’s patients and high school athletes.  Kristy has been in management since 2014, developing numerous therapy teams that delivered improved outcome measures while maintaining quality patient care.  She believes that patients have improved participation and outcomes when all areas of wellness are addressed.  Her treatment plans are guided by this belief and she works diligently to educate patients, staff and family members with improvement strategies.  

JEANNE FUNG  

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Jeanne graduated with a BSOT from Creighton University in 1991.  Jeanne has experience in a variety of settings from acute care, acute rehab, burn unit, rural health, home health and management with the majority of experience with geriatrics in skilled rehab. Jeanne joined Goodcare AtHome Rehab in July 2021 and is looking forward to this new setting focused on helping people work to stay independent, safe and healthy as they age in place. 

Outside of work, Jeanne most enjoys family time with her husband, Ed, her 3 grown children, Maddie, Andrew and Ethan plus their 2 dogs and 2 cats.  

ANDREA GERLEMAN

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Andrea graduated from The University of Northern Iowa in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She then went on and graduated from Des Moines University in 2006 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. 

Since then, she has worked in a variety of settings. She has experience in skilled nursing, acute care, long term care, management and treatment experience in the outpatient clinic setting, and most recently the home health care setting. She enjoys working with all ages but is passionate about helping seniors achieve their goals and maintain mobility as they age. 

Outside of work, Andrea loves spending time with her husband and 3 kids.  She enjoys reading, being outdoors, and watching her kids at all of their sporting events.
