TAMI BITTNER
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Tami graduated from the University of South Dakota with a BS in Biology in 1997 and then completed her MS degree in Occupational Therapy in 1999. Since graduation she has worked as an OT in many different areas of practice including acute care, rehab, out-patient, long-term care, home health, mental health. Tami has worked for Goodcare AtHome Rehab since 2014 and loves being an OT. Tami is certified in LSVT BIG, an intensive treatment protocol for those with Parkinson’s disease. Her passion is to help people achieve the highest possible level of independence and quality of life in their home environment.

LEAH HARMS
PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Leah received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from USD in 2010. Family includes husband Tyler and children Evan and Emerson. Her interests are exercising, reading, spending time with family.

Leah is certified in lymphedema management and plans to become certified in LSVT BIG. Her other professional interests include orthopedics and patients with balance deficits.

DAPHNE VANDEN BOSCH
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Daphne received her Bachelors Degree in Biology and Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Dakota. She received her certification in lymphedema management in 2008. She has also participated in various trainings specific to dementia management, fall prevention, and vision impairments.

She has over 14 years of experience which has included areas of pediatrics through geriatrics, both clinic, SNF, and home settings. She lives in Sioux Falls with her husband and two daughters.

JEN LUND
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Jen has worked for Goodcare AtHome Rehab since 2018. She graduated from Black Hills State University with a BS in Wellness management and then received her MS degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Dakota. Since graduation she has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, long-term care, and out-patient therapy.

Jen is certified in Parkinson’s LSVT Big program. Outside of work Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, camping, music, snowboarding, hunting, and basically anything that will get her outside with her family and friends!

KRISTIN LOHNES
PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Kristin received her Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota in 1998. She has practiced in a variety of settings during the course of her career. She specializes in Women’s Health/Pelvic Floor Disorders and has received various trainings in treatment of these conditions. She is certified as a Lifestyle Educator for the FirstLine Therapy Program. Kristin has a passion for promoting physical and personal well-being in others and enjoys using positive lifestyle factors to assist her patients in their healing. Kristin enjoys lifting weights, riding bikes outdoors with her family, loves dogs, and strives to spend as much time as possible with her husband, 2 sons, and 2 Goldendoodles.

Abby Westlund
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST  

Abby graduated from Calvin College with a B.A. in Speech-Language Pathology in 2010 and received her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Minnesota in 2012. She has her national certificate of clinical competency (CCCs) and is a member of ASHA’s gerontology, voice, and dysphagia special interest groups. She holds her Iowa and South Dakota licenses and is certified in VitalStim therapy for swallowing. Abby is married and has three children. She recently moved back to Sioux Falls and is enjoying rediscovering the area with her family.

KATE BEACOM
PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Kate graduated from Mount Marty College in 2010 with degrees in biology and chemistry and then completed her doctorate of physical therapy degree at the University of South Dakota in 2013.

She recently joined the Goodcare AtHome Rehab team in the summer of 2020 after working as an inpatient physical therapist in an acute setting.

She has provided physical therapy for a variety of patient populations including neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, pulmonary, oncology, dialysis, traumatic injuries, and patients with dementia. Her professional interest is in geriatrics and fall prevention. She is married to her husband, Corey, and they have three children. 

ALYSHA HUBER
PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT
Alysha has been a licensed PTA since 2003 with experience in inpatient, outpatient, and home health with specialized interest in geriatrics. Alysha lives in Hartford with her husband, Ryan and two children, Braxton and Brinley. She is passionate about family time, watching her kids sporting evens, music, and enjoys being a part of such an amazing therapy team.
LACEY PETERSON
PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Lacey has been a licensed PTA since 2002 with experience in inpatient, outpatient, pediatrics and geriatrics. Lacey lives in Dell Rapids with her husband, Kwen and two boys, Tollin and Tandyn. Lacey enjoys horseback riding, spending time with her family and attending her boys’ sporting activities.

KENDRA HARMS
OCCUPATIONAL & CERTIFIED HAND THERAPIST  

Kendra began her studies in 1997 at SDSU and then transferred to the University of North Dakota where she obtained her master’s degree in Occupational therapy.  Following graduation, she worked in many areas including; chronic pain management, hand therapy/outpatient rehab, inpatient rehab, home health and community outreach.

She transitioned to full time outpatient services in 2003 and began her love of working with hand therapy patients at Avera McKennan where she worked for 5 years.  Following one year at Sanford, she was asked to assist in developing a hand therapy clinic for the Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls where she has worked for the last 12 years prior to coming to Goodcare at Home in 2020.

She received her CHT (certified hand therapy certification) in 2010 and is active in community education and promotion of hand therapy services in the region.  During her employment, she developed a Return to Work program, assisted in developing outreach hand therapy clinics, and was guest speaker at the annual meeting for SDOTA in 2011 and 2014.

In her spare time she loves doing various creative projects such as interior design and crafting as well as spending time doing anything active outdoors with her husband Chad, 4 children, and their dog Mia.

Rhonda Raue
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Rhonda graduated from South Dakota State University with a BS in microbiology in 1996 and then completed her Masters degree in occupational therapy in 2000. Since graduation she has worked as an occupational therapist in many different areas of practice including long-term acute care, rehab, outpatient, long-term care, pediatrics and home health.  Outside of work Rhonda enjoys yoga, spending time with her family, friends and her three dogs!

JENNIFER CURRIER
PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Jennifer started her career as a Physical Therapist in 2011. She attended South Dakota State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and continued on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at A. T. Still University in Mesa, AZ.

Within her professional practice, Jennifer seeks to help individuals reduce their fall risk to prevent injuries and enhance their mobility. She enjoys strength training and spending time with her family. Jennifer and her family live in Sioux Falls and enjoy spending time outdoors and visiting the family farm.

MICA SKINNER
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Mica graduated from University of South Dakota in 2013 with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. She also received her BA in Psychology from the University of Sioux Falls. Family includes husband Jason and daughter Julia born in 2016. My hobbies include running (she’s completed 3 half marathons so far for fun), napping, spending time with her husband and daughter, and watching her daughter learn and grow. Professional interests include all aspects of geriatrics, especially dementia care.
