Michele Sorum Schwerin brings over 30 years of clinical knowledge in Physical Therapy and integrated multidisciplinary healthcare. She graduated from University of Southern California’s Master of Physical Therapy program in 1989 afer obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health and Health Education from Mankato State University. Michele has been a clinical consultant opening new rehab. facilities across the country for a nation-wide organization.
Recently she has developed 2 multidisciplinary out patient clinics combining Physical Therapy, Chiropractic and Medical. Her broad range of therapeutic experience includes: Parkinson’s disease treatment, outpatient orthopedics, occupational medicine, neurology, women’s health, vestibular (dizziness and balance) rehabilitation, pediatrics, geriatrics in- home care and skilled nursing home care.
Michele has been a lecturer at seminars and a classroom instructor for therapeutic techniques. She lives in Sioux City with her husband, Chris a high school math teacher. They have 3 daughters who are in college. Michele enjoys bicycling, Zumba and walking the 2 family dogs.
