Sharon graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2001 with a Masters in Rehab Science. She received a Bachelors degree in Biology from Bob Jones University. Sharon recently moved to Sioux Falls In 2018 with her husband and 4 boys.

She has worked in home health, skilled nursing, and assisted-living settings in Georgia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Mississippi. She has worked with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, neurological, general debility, dementia, and balance disorders.
